Rare to find Mauser G98 made at the schilling factory in 1917 that has a regimentally marked butt disc to a jager regiment 10.JR.10.117. This gun was then stamped with 1920 when it would have been used in the Reichswehr and then has been upgraded prior to WW2 and was then designated G98b. The only real change is the rear sight which is the K98 style rather than the large roller sight on the G98.
