Enfield No 8 Trainer in .22lr caliber

Very collectable Enfield No 8 in .22lr bolt action single shot trainer from the late 40’s early 50’s. These guns were only made in relatively small numbers and for a short time.. This particular gun has the serial number prefix DA which means it was one of the 3000 sold to New Zealand . With matching numbers to the bolt and action(no other numbers visible) In 2009 the NZ Army sold 285 of these guns off at Auction so this could well be one of those 285! Very good bright bore.
